Recently refurbished to a very comfortable standard, Westville is a large and elegant Victorian terraced house which stands in a commanding position overlooking Mount’s Bay and the fairy tale island of St. Michael’s Mount. Located in the very heart of this ancient market town, the property is literally a stone’s throw from the golden, crescent shaped sandy beach. The house has been completely renovated but many of the original Victorian features remain such as several fireplaces, window seats and a fabulous wash stand in the main bathroom.
The ground floor contains a light and spacious, well equipped open plan kitchen/dining room and lounge which features the original Victorian fireplaces and a window seat with amazing views to the mount.
Stairs lead down to a basement consisting of a utility and shower room, with power shower, and a second lounge area with a TV and DVD player (perfect for children!). The basement has an entrance to gain access to the beach and to the side of the property where there is an enclosed patio area with seating which is ideal for summer BBQ’s!
There are four bedrooms at Westville. The first floor contains the main king bedroom with beautiful bay windows and seating for spectacular views of the mount. It is quite possible to lie in bed with a cup of tea in the morning and view this ancient and spectacular island! Also on this floor is a relaxing twin room decorated with a seaside theme and the main bathroom with a bath and shower over, w/c and grand Victorian bath stand.
On the second floor there is a pretty twin bedroom and a king bedroom overlooking the mount.
